Top highlights from JediSwap in the last two weeks

JediSwap continues its organic growth, crossing $9.5M in TVL

Since the previous issue of this newsletter, Jediswap's TVL has increased by 18.75%, rising from $8M to over $9.5M.

100 days long LP contest ends with 76k eligible winners

We ran a 100-day-long contest for JediSwap liquidity providers. The contest became a huge success with more than 76,000 people becoming eligible to win the NFTs. This contest played a significant role in making JediSwap #1 on Starknet by TVL. Not only it attracted a large amount of TVL floating to JediSwap, but also it attracted the most sticky liquidity.

JediSwap core contributors light up Starknet CC

The new Starknet CC event, held on July 21st in Paris, was, once again, a great success, and several core contributors of JediSwap had the pleasure of attending.

In particular, the dedicated JediSwap booth facilitated direct interactions with the enthusiastic community, enabling the team to have face-to-face discussions and answer questions. We were happy to meet you all and are glad to say that we built a lot of valuable relations with projects from around the Starknet ecosystem.

In addition, Master Rohit delivered an enlightening talk about permissionless work on the main stage.

Leading gaming project Realm lists their token on JediSwap

The flagship gaming project on Starknet, Realms, lists the LORDS token on JediSwap. With this, LORDS became the first ERC20 project bridging their token on Starknet. It also shows JediSwap is the 1st preferred platform for projects to list their tokens.

JediSwap partners with Dapped to help projects launch on Starknet

JediSwap concluded a strategic partnership with Dappad to support and assist new projects on Starknet.

What happened in the Starknet ecosystem

Starknet goes through a major upgrade boosting TPS by 100x

The biggest news in the past few weeks is the official launch of the Starknet 0.12, 'Quantum Leap' network upgrade on the Mainnet.

This upgrade allows Starknet to increase its TPS capacity by approximately x100 and positions it as the most performant L2 in the current market!

The results of this upgrade are mind-blowing:

  • Increased TPS capacity and a drastic decrease in transaction waiting time.

  • Explosion of Starknet's TVL (+81% in one month and crossing the symbolic $100M mark.

  • Catching up with other L2s in terms of TVL.

OKX enables deposit/withdrawal for the Starknet network

One of the biggest centralized exchanges, OKX, started accepting deposits and withdrawals to the Starknet network.

Paradex announces launching a derivatives exchange as the first Starknet appchain

After introducing the concept of Starknet Appchain, three projects announced last week that they are building an appchain on top of Starknet: After the perpetual dex Paradex, another derivatives exchange, Rabbit X, announced launching its appchain powered by Starknet stack.

The decentralized oracle project Pragma also showcased their testnet for their oracle appchain.

The leading Starknet wallet ArgentX launches a new NFT marketplace

Argent, the team behind the biggest wallet on Starknet, launched a new NFT platform on Starknet called Unframed. With Unframed, Argent plans to push the boundaries for what NFT marketplaces can do.

Braavos launches multi-owner account

Braavos, the native wallet of Starknet, announced and launched during Starknet CC its new innovative feature: Multi-Owner Account. This improved multi-sig makes life easier for project teams.
