Starknet announces its plans to reduce transaction fees by 10x-100x

After enabling Starknet to become the most performant L2 on the market, StarkWare is now focusing on reducing network fees users pay. For an in-depth look at this subject, here's a thread by Starknet_OG explaining their plan 👇️

Starknet becomes the most open-sourced L2

StarkWare has recently announced the upcoming open sourcing (August 31) of its STARK prover, Stone, allowing Starknet to have its entire core tech stack open source. A first in the L2 environment enhances the network's security and decentralization.

Starknet Foundation announces onboarding committee to focus on ecosystem growth

The Starknet Foundation recently announced the objectives of its ecosystem onboarding committee, aiming to expand the Starknet ecosystem. One major strategy is the appointment of Starknet's first ambassadors, tasked with organizing events, speaking at events, generating content, and distributing grants to promising projects.

Though the first batch of ambassadors has already been chosen, there will be new additions with time.
