What happened in the Starknet ecosystem

Starknet v0.13.0 update.

Starknet v0.13.0 is transitioning fromˀ testnet to mainnet. With Starknet 0.13, users can pay transaction fees in Starknet’s native token, STRK (once it becomes transferable). Starknet v0.13.0 also paves the way for upcoming features outlined in the roadmap, including Paymaster, Fee Market, and Volition Mode, etc.

Introducing Devonomics

In collaboration with StarkWare, the Starknet Foundation is introducing Devonomics—an experimental pilot program designed to prioritize and empower Starknet developers. Devonomics will initially allocate over 1600 ETH (equivalent to $3.5M+ at the time of publication), representing 10% of all transaction fees accumulated until November 30, 2023.
